I believe we all have a story which has led us to the person who we are today. So I’d briefly like to share mine with you, as it’s part of the reason why I am helping women all over the world feel the best version of themselves!
Growing up I was never into ‘sports’, nor was I naturally lean. In fact, Physical Education was my least favourite subject at school. However, I did LOVE to dance, and several week nights after school I attended dance school with a bunch of amazing girls (whom are now my BFF’s), where we worked hard, but also shared many giggles!
As the dancing slowed down the gym workouts took over. I LOVED fitness classes, swimming and indoor cycling, I was hooked.
In my early twenties my Grandad passed away from cancer, and without any previous running experience I decided to enter a marathon to raise money for cancer. It was during this time that I completely fell in love with exercise and nutrition; each day I was eager to learn more. Since then, I have certified as a Personal Trainer, I have taught multiple Group Fitness formats, I have worked as an International Barre Presenter for Equinox and I am a Fitness Nutrition Specialist.
It took some time for me to feel as confident as I do today in my body, but I can proudly say that I am at a point where I rarely worry about my body image, and instead I focus on WHAT MY BODY CAN DO FOR ME! Sure, I have off days (I’m human too), but my body is STRONG, it moves well, it’s birthed a child, I mean… it’s a blooming miracle worker!
More than anything, I want YOU to feel this good about yourself in your body. Exercise should be part of our lifestyles, and the last thing we want, or need, is to view exercise as a chore!
I am determined to bring out the fun in your workouts and to bring out FEEL GOOD in you.
